The government is claiming to provide electricity to every village of the country, but according to the report of UDISI from the year 2017-19, about 37 percent of the schools still do not have electricity. More than 900 children have been sick of eating mid-day meals during the last three years across the country.

देश के हर गांव में बिजली पहुंचाने का दावा सरकार कर रही है लेकिन एकीकृत ज़िला शिक्षा प्रणाली सूचना यानी UDISI की वर्ष 2017 से 19 की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक क़रीब 37 फीसदी स्‍कूलों में आज भी बिजली उपलब्ध नहीं है। देशभर में पिछले तीन साल के दौरान मिड-डे मील खाने से क़रीब 900 से ज़्यादा बच्चों के बीमार हुए हैं।
