Hundreds of thousands gather in Mexico City for the reenactment of the Passion of Christ

Around 600,000 Catholics attend the reenactment of the Passion of Christ in Mexico City's Iztapalapa district, which had been suspended for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. "Traditional things were being lost and now they have resumed. Which makes me very happy.," says 63-year-old housewife Susana Montano who has been attending the Passion of the Christ since she was a child.
