Rang Panchami 2022: Holi festival, which started from the full moon of Falgun month, ends on the fifth day of Chaitra month. This day is also known as Rangpanchami and Devpanchami. It is mentioned in mythological texts that on this day even gods and goddesses descend on the earth to celebrate the festival of colors. Rangpanchami has a special significance in Hinduism. Rangpanchami will be celebrated on March 22, 2022, the fifth day after playing Holi, on March 18, 2022.According to mythological texts, on the day of Panchami i.e. Rangpanchami of Chaitra month Krishna Paksha played Holi of colors with Radha. That is why on this day, worshiping Radha-Krishna with rituals and offering them Abir-Gulal, only after that people throw Abir-Gulal on each other. On this day in Barsana, after performing special poojas in the temple of Radha Rani, devotees blow abir-gulal on the people. According to another legend, on the day of Holashtak, Lord Shiva got angry and burnt Kamadeva by opening his third eye. This caused an uproar in heaven. Then on the special prayer of Kamadeva's wife Goddess Rati and the gods, Lord Shiva donated her life again. As soon as Kamadeva was revived, all the deities celebrated the festival of colors expressing their happiness. Incidentally, this day was the fifth day of Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month. It is said that since then Rangotsav started being celebrated on this day.

Rang Panchami 2022: फाल्गुन मास की पूर्णिमा से शुरु हुआ होलिकोत्सव चैत्र मास की पंचमी के दिन खत्म होता है. इस दिन को रंगपंचमी (Rangpanchami) एवं देवपंचमी (Devpanchami) के नाम से भी जाना जाता है. पौराणिक ग्रंथों में उल्लेखित है कि इस दिन देवी-देवता भी रंगोत्सव मनाने के लिए पृथ्वी पर अवतरित होते हैं. हिंदू धर्म में रंगपंचमी का विशेष महत्व है. 18 मार्च 2022 के दिन होली खेलने के पांचवे दिन दिन बाद यानी 22 मार्च 2022 को रंगपंचमी मनाई जायेगी.पौराणिक ग्रंथों के अनुसार चैत्र मास कृष्णपक्ष की पंचमी यानी रंगपंचमी के दिन भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने राधा के साथ रंगों की होली खेली थी. इसीलिए इस दिन राधा-कृष्ण की विधि-विधान के साथ पूजा-अर्चना उऩ्हें अबीर-गुलाल अर्पित करते हैं, इसके बाद ही लोग एक दूसरे पर अबीर गुलाल उड़ाते हैं. इस दिन बरसाने में राधा रानी के मंदिर में श्रद्धालु विशेष पूजा करने के पश्चात हुरियारें लोगों पर अबीर-गुलाल उड़ाते हैं. एक अन्य पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार होलाष्टक के दिन भगवान शिव ने क्रोधित होकर तीसरी आंख खोलकर कामदेव को भस्म कर दिया था. इससे स्वर्गलोक में हाहाकार मच गया. तब कामदेव की पत्नी देवी रति और देवताओं की विशेष प्रार्थना पर भगवान शिव ने उन्हें दुबारा जीवन दान दिया. कामदेव को पुनर्जीवन मिलते ही सभी देवी-देवताओं ने प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए रंगोत्सव मनाया. संयोग से यह दिन चैत्र मास कृष्णपक्ष की पंचमी का दिन था. कहते हैं इसके बाद से ही इस दिन रंगोत्सव मनाया जाने लगा.
