Indian students stranded in war hit Ukraine have been pleading to the Indian government to evacuate them at the earliest. India with the assistance of Romania, Poland and Hungary has been evacuating Indian students stranded in Ukraine. On February 28, Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi tweeted, “lots of Indian students have been denied entry into Poland, some who were allowed yesterday have also been sent back.” Polish Ambassador Adam Burakowski responded to Chaturvedi’s tweet. Burakowski tweeted, “Madam, this is absolutely not true.” Soon after Chaturvedi responded to Burakowski tweeting, “Sir, with all due respect, that’s not what I have been told by the students.” Burakowski tweeted, “Dear Madam, I am absolutely sure that it did not happen.” And it did not stop here.
