On February 27, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra shared a video of a student in Kyiv, Ukraine, pleading to the Indian government for help as she and many others are stuck in the war hit country. Indian students stranded in Ukraine panicked after videos of some students allegedly being tortured at the Ukraine-Romania & Shehyni-Poland border went viral on social media. Many students have alleged that Ukrainian guards at the Poland border are torturing them and not allowing them to cross over. Videos of students being allegedly kicked and harassed by the troops have gone viral on social media. The cold situation at the Romanian border is also affecting the students.
