Tamil Nadu civic elections, के नतीजों में सत्तारूढ़ पार्टी DMK ने जबरदस्त प्रदर्शन करते हुए बड़ी जीत हासिल की है। एक तरफ जहां डीएमके ने ग्रेटर चेन्नई कॉरपोरेशन सहित सभी 21 नगर निगमों में बहुमत हासिल किया है, तो दूसरी तरफ BJP का भी तमिलनाडु में चौंकाने वाला प्रदर्शन देखने को मिला है। पिछली बार (2011) की तुलना में इस बार शहरी चुनावों में बीजेपी अपने वार्डों की संख्या बढ़ाने में कामयाब रही है।
