Hero Villagers Jump Into Floods To Rescue Cows From Being Swept Away | Happily TV

Incredible footage has emerged of young men fearlessly leaping into rampaging flood waters to rescue cows from being washed away. The video, captured in the Philippines during Typhoon Mangkhut on September 15, shows a cow bobbing along at a frightening pace in the raging water. Suddenly a young man heroically jumps into the water and grabs hold of it, with the powerful current dragging them further along. But after about 20ft, the man is able to get his footing near higher land and other villagers come to his aid, pulling both the cow and him to safety. As the cow is led away from the floods to safety, a second cow which was rescued by other villagers further along the flood water is also brought back safely. Odilon Luzano, who shot the amazing footage in his village Barangay Cabitnongan in San Nicolas, Pangasinan, was at the water edge protecting a flood levee.
