Kathak maestro Pandit Birju Maharaj has passed away due to a heart attack. Padma Vibhushan awardee Birju Maharaj, 83, breathed his last last night. His family has given this information through social media. Birju Maharaj was admitted to Saket Hospital in Delhi after his health deteriorated.
