Streets and trains empty in central Chinese city of Anyang as Covid-19 lockdown begins

Over 5 million residents of the Chinese city of Anyang have been placed under lockdown to fight the spread of Covid-19. The measures were taken after two cases involving the Omicron variant were confirmed on January 10, 2022.
