देश के पांच राज्यों में विधानसभा चुनाव की तारीखों का ऐलान कर दिया गया है. पांचों राज्यों के विधानसभा चुनाव के नतीजे देश के अगले राष्ट्रपति चुनाव में काफी अहम होने वाले हैं. जुलाई महीने में संभावित राष्ट्रपति चुनाव में इन पांच राज्यों के नवनिर्वाचित विधायक अहम रोल अदा करेंगे. इन पांच राज्यों के नतीजे ना सिर्फ 690 विधायकों के भविष्य का फैसला करेंगे बल्कि 19 Rajya Sabha MP की भी सीट खाली हो रही है उनके चयन में भी यह नतीजे अहम रहने वाले हैं.
