'MB only waved from car' - Bentong flood victims criticise state govt

The government’s poor rescue response following the floods not only caused frustration and anger among the public, the “touch and go” style of the authorities visiting flood areas also sparked criticism.

When Kinitv visited Taman Chegar Medang, Bentong in Pahang yesterday, garbage was piled up on roads in front of the flood victims’ houses, with mud still covering much of the area.

This was despite five days having passed since the flood.
