A Mount Gambier man who beat his girlfriend, then smoked drugs as she lay dying on the floor has been sentenced to life in jail. But Bradley Wayne Trussell could be released before his 50th birthday after the Supreme Court imposed the mandatory minimum non-parole period for murder.
