The future of cricket in Afghanistan was under threat since the Taliban occupied Afghanistan, but after that it was reported that the Taliban would allow Afghanistan to play cricket, but the condition was that only men would be allowed to play, Women will not be allowed to play. This thing shook the entire cricketing world as it is not a good thing to have this kind of thinking in the game.

इस साल अफ़ग़ानिस्तान में तालिबान के कब्ज़ा करने के बाद से काफी दिल दुखाने वाली खबरें सामने आई। तालिबान के अफ़ग़ानिस्तान पर कब्ज़ा करने के बाद से ही अफ़ग़ानिस्तान में क्रिकेट के भविष्य पर खतरा मंडरा रहा था, मगर उसके बाद ये खबर आई की तालिबान अफ़ग़ानिस्तान को क्रिकेट खेलने की अनुमति देगा मगर शर्त ये थी की सिर्फ पुरुषों को ही खेलने की इजाज़त मिलेगी, महिलाओं को खेलने की अनुमति नहीं होगी। इस बात ने पूरे क्रिकेट जगत को हिला कर रख दिया था क्युकी इस तरह की सोच खेल में होना अच्छी बात नहीं है।
