Legal challenges ahead over Ryarsh quarry

Plans for a huge quarry in Ryarsh may still go ahead despite the council agreeing it shouldn't be built.

Councillors had proposed the site in Ryarsh to help meet a shortfall of sand.

But at a meeting today a legal challenge from developers means a decision is now on hold.
