Nathan Gomes from the University of Kent has hit out at online theories linking coronavirus to 5G networks after a number of mobile phone masts have been vandalised because of the spread of misinformation across the UK.

There are claims circulating online that the new network can cause serious harm and potentially to blame for the pandemic.
