A total of 2,710 offences have been found by riders providing food delivery service (p-hailing) within just a month, during the Ops Merah operation carried out from Oct 8 until Friday, said Datuk Lokman Jamaan.
The Road Transport Department’s (JPJ) Director (Enforcement) told reporters that on Saturday (Oct 6), adding that the highest offence involving p-hailing riders was violating red light signals, with 902 cases reported, followed by not having a driving license (602) and no insurance coverage (256).
