India witnessed a sharp rise in its daily COVID-19 infections as the country logged 18,454 fresh cases, which is 26 per cent higher than yesterday. With fresh cases, the country's overall caseload has now mounted to 3,41,27,450, according to the data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare early on Thursday. And India is set to complete 1 billion (100 crore) doses of the Covid-19 vaccine today, nine months after it launched “the world’s biggest vaccination drive”, with the government planning a mega celebration for the “great achievement”.

देश में धीरे-धीरे कोरोना महामारी (Coronavirus India Update) के मामले कम हो रहे हैं। लेकिन देश में पिछले दो दिनों से कोरोना के मामलों में इजाफा देखा जा रहा है। भारत में पिछले 24 घंटों में कोरोना वायरस (Corona virus) के 18,454 नए मामले सामने आए है। जबकि एक दिन पहले ये आंकड़ा 14,623 था। वहीं 160 लोगों की कोरोना महामारी की वजह से मौत हो गई। इस महामारी से अबतक4,52,811 लोगों की मौत हो गई है. वहीं देश में कुल संक्रमितों की संख्या बढ़कर अब 3,41,27,450 हो गई है. ये जानकारी स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय (Union Health Ministry COVID19 Update) की ओर से बृहस्पतिवार सुबह जारी किए गए आंकड़ों के मुताबिक है। कोरोना संक्रमण (Corona Pandemic) के एक्टिव मामले अब 2 लाख से भी कम हो चुके हैं. देशभर में कोरोना के सक्रिय मामलों की संख्या 1,78,831 है
