Uttarakhand: Cloudburst, Flooding In Many Districts As Rains Continue Unabated

Heavy rainfall has caused havoc in Uttarakhand. Incessant downpour for over three days has led to immense damage across the hilly state. The heavy showers caused flooding of roads. Overflowing water bodies left locals and tourists stranded. At least five people have lost their lives. The popular Nainital lake is also overflowing. A scary video has also emerged on social media, where a car with passengers inside got caught between two boulders in the middle of a swollen stream. A cloudburst was reported in a village in Ramgarh in Uttarakhand. Around 100 people were stuck at Lemon Tree Resort located at Ramnagar-Ranikhet route..
