Bengaluru: Kempegowda Airport Flooded As Intense Rains Inundate Parts Of The City

On October 11, roads leading to Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru were waterlogged as heavy rain lashed the city. Heavy showers brought the city to a standstill. The rainwater made it difficult for the passengers to reach the airport. Stranded passengers were forced to take tractor rides to the airport to catch their flights. Videos, showing passengers travelling in tractors, have gone viral on social media. Meanwhile, a man died due to a short circuit in a house that was flooded. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), rain is likely to continue till October 15. A yellow alert has been issued in the city. Watch the video to know more.
