Heavy rainfall on Monday morning led to waterlogging on several roads in West Bengal's Kolkata. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the heavy downpour is expected to continue till around 1 or 2 pm on Monday afternoon. Even Vistara airline issued an alert on account of the heavy rainfall and severe waterlogging in the city. The company tweeted that due to waterlogging on account of heavy rains in Kolkata, traffic congestion is expected. Customers traveling are advised to allow more time for their journey to the airport.
