Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri while addressing a gathering at the launch of Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0 on October 01, said that the misison has succeeded because Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the project into a ‘Jan Andolan’. “Swachh Bharat Mission has succeeded not only because of lakhs of toilets or bringing waste processing to 70% but also because PM Modi made this project into a 'Jan Andolan',” said the Minister.
