Swachh Mission: 90% of India is covered under 'Swachh Bharat', says PM Narendra Modi

Ahead of the 4 year anniversary of the Swatch Bharat Abhiyan - PM Modi yesterday launched the Swachhta hi Seva campaign. The two week long campaign was envisaged by the PM will mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi & the fourth anniversary of the Swachh Bharat campaign. Highlighting the success of the Clean India Mision, PM Modi said that “the Swachata coverage is now above 90 per cent which used to be 40 per cent four years ago.
