Police officers who cosy up with the government of the day and make money illegally inevitably face payback time when there is a change in guard, the Supreme Court of India said today. Such cops must not be protected but must be jailed, Chief Justice NV Ramana said, though he did grant interim protection from arrest till October 1 to the official facing extortion charges. IPS Officers पर लगे जबरन वसूली के आरोपों पर Supreme Court के सीजेआई ने कड़ी टिप्पणी की है. CJI NV Ramana ने कहा है कि ऐसे पुलिसवालों को जेल होनी चाहिए. दरसल सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने आज कहा कि मौजूदा सरकार के साथ चैट करने वाले और अवैध रूप से पैसा कमाने वाले पुलिस अधिकारियों को अनिवार्य रूप से भुगतान का सामना करना पड़ेगा और कहा कि ऐसे पुलिसवालों को जेल में डालना चाहिए.
