The hearing on the ongoing dispute between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana over the Krishna river was to be held in the Supreme Court on Monday, but Chief Justice of India NV Ramana has recused himself from the matter. Now a new bench will hear the matter. NV Ramana says that he cannot hear this case, because he is related to both the states. At the same time, he has urged the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to resolve the dispute through mediation.

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana के बीचKrishna river को लेकर चल रहे विवाद को लेकर सोमवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट Supreme Court में सुनवाई होनी थी, लेकिन Chief Justice of India NV Ramana ने खुद को इस मामले से अलग कर लिया है। अब इस मामले पर नई बेंच सुनवाई करेगी। एनवी रमना का कहना है कि वो इस केस की सुनवाई नहीं कर सकते, क्योंकि उनका नाता दोनों राज्यों से है। साथ ही उन्होंने तेलंगाना और आंध्र प्रदेश की सरकारों से मध्यस्थता के जरिए विवाद को सुलझाने का आग्रह किया है।
