Congress has named Chamkaur Sahib MLA Charanjit Singh Channi as the next chief minister of Punjab. The choice of Channi as leader of the Congress' legislature party in Punjab, and the head of its government, was confirmed by state-in-charge Harish Rawat. After the announcement, BJP leader Amit Malviya attacked Channi and made some serious allegations against him. Watch this video.
