The tension between Assam and Mizoram is now at its peak and has added fuel to the fire of this dispute. Apart from this, the Assam government has asked the people of Assam working in Mizoram to take utmost care. The Assam Government has issued an advisory asking local residents to refrain from traveling to Mizoram amid the ongoing inter-state border row that has claimed the lives of six Assam Police personnel. Given the critical prevailing situation, the people of Assam are advised not to travel to Mizoram and the personal safety of the people of Assam cannot be accepted, the advisory issued by the state's home department states.
