Along-standing inter-state border dispute between Assam and Mizoram erupted into fresh violence on Monday. Central forces have now been deployed in the area to bring the situation under control and prevent any more untoward incidents. Congress has now demanded a discussion over the issue in the Lok Sabha. A 7-member committee of Congress will also go to Cachar to take stock of the situation. Watch this video.
