दुनियाभर में 28 जुलाई को वर्ल्ड हेपेटाइटिस डे मनाया जाता है. हेपेटाइटिस लीवर से जुड़ी सबसे गंभीर बीमारियों में से एक है. इस बीमारी के चलते लीवर के टिशू में इंफ्लमेशन होने लगता है और इलाज नहीं होने पर आगे चलकर लीवर कैंसर जैसी गंभीर बामारियों का रुप ले लेती है,दुनिया भर में लाखों लोग हर साल हेपेटाइटिस का शिकार होते हैं और इसीलिए इस खतरनाक बीमारी के बारे में अवेयरनेस फैलाने के लिए हर साल वर्ल्ड हेपेटाइटिस डे मनाया जाता है.
