After a person returning from the UK tested positive in Bhubaneswar, the DMET Director, Dr. CBK Mohanty said that there is no need to panic and there is no second wave of Coronavirus. Speaking about the new strain, he also said that while the symptoms are similar, the mutated strain is more infectious.
Mohanty also said that the government is taking necessary precautions and keeping track of the daily developments.
The DMET director said there is no need to panic till the time the new strain is not identified in the UK returnee.
