For landowners in Bhubaneswar planning to construct houses, the process has just got effortless and hassle-free. The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has relaxed norms for the construction of houses on small plots under its jurisdiction in the Capital City. The development authority has come up with standard building plans for the low-risk building categories that will require no approval.

As per the new provision, the plot owners having standard size residential plots in an approved layout or plots are not required to wait for any building plan. They can construct their buildings as per the Standard Building Plans only after submitting a form with a specified fee.
