Our mandarin songs collection wouldn’t be complete without having an artist from a younger generation who probably is already one of the best Chinese pop singers: Crowd Lu
This Taiwanese singer-song writer started his artistic career due to a tragic accident: he got run by a bus and was severely injured. Having to stay in a Hospital for several months he spent his time playing guitar and writing songs, not a bad idea! The following year he would receive his first awards and in 2008 “100 Ways of Living”, his first album would be released bringing him lots of exposure and fame.
The song I’m covering is part of the album “Slow Soul” my favorite from this artist. I find his singing very warmth and touching, the songs are nicely arranged, full of surprises, and the music has a very original and joyful atmosphere.
I couldn’t find an alternative English title but I can tell you that he is saying 再见了(zàijiàn le) goodbye! to his hair (maybe due to a haircut ) another sign of his sense of humor and creativity .
