Last week the Uluru Statement from the Heart was awarded the Sydney Peace Prize, four years since it was first presented to the Australian people. The document's two pillars, a constitutionally enshrined voice to Parliament and a Makarrata process to investigate truth-telling and treaty-making have yet to be acted on a federal level.
