Waterways filled by floodwater for first time in 5 years

The community of Menindee in the New South Wales far west is celebrating the arrival of floodwaters from the north. Just two years ago, it was the scene of mass fish deaths as the drought strangled the region. Locals are happy to see Lake Menindee finally filling up again but they're at odds with the government over its water management.
