According to Hindu Panchang, Chaitra Navratri has started on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. Worshiping the nine forms of the mother is worshiped for the whole nine days. Mother Mahagauri is worshiped on the eighth day of Navratri. On this day, along with regular puja, havan is also done in the house. Ashtami Tithi is very important in Navratri.

हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार 13 अप्रैल 2021, दिन मंगलवार से चैत्र नवरात्रि आरंभ हो गई हैं। पूरे नौ दिनों तक मां के नौ स्वरूपों की पूजा आराधना करने का विधान है। नवरात्रि के आठवें दिन मां महागौरी का पूजन किया जाता है। इस दिन नियमित पूजा के साथ ही घर में हवन भी करवाया जाता है। इस दिन पूजन के लिए विशेष सामग्री की आवश्यक्ता होती है।
