Votes were cast on Thursday as part of the second phase of assembly elections in West Bengal and Assam. While voting was held in 30 seats in Bengal, votes were cast in 39 seats in Assam. Talking about the vote percentage, according to the Election Commission, in Assam, 73.03 percent of the votes were cast during the second phase of voting till 6 pm, while in West Bengal, 80.43 percent of the voting took place.

पश्चिम बंगाल और असम में विधानसभा चुनाव के दूसरे चरण के तहत गुरुवार को वोट डाले गए. बंगाल में जहां 30 सीटों पर मतदान हुआ वहीं असम में 39 सीटों पर वोट डाले गए. वोट प्रतिशत की बात करें तो चुनाव आयोग के मुताबिक असम में शाम 6 बजे तक दूसरे चरण की वोटिंग के दौरान 73.03 फीसदी वोट पड़े जबकि पश्चिम बंगाल में 80.43 फीसदी वोटिंग हुई.
