Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and the Union Territory of Puducherry are heading for assembly elections today. Polling is happening in a single phase in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on April 6. Voters in Assam will cast their ballots in the third and final phase today. This is the third polling phase in Bengal.

देश के पांच राज्यों में हो रहे विधानसभा चुनाव के लिहाज से आज यानी 6 अप्रैल का दिन अहम रहने वाला है. आज तमिलनाडु की सभी 234 सीटों के साथ केरल की सभी 140 सीटों पर वोटिंग हो रही है. असम में आज तीसरे और आखिरी चरण का मतदान है, जबकि पश्चिम बंगाल की 31 सीटों पर आज तीसरे चरण के लिए वोटिंग जारी है. केंद्रशासित प्रदेश पुडुचेरी की सभी 30 सीटों पर भी आज ही वोटिंग हो रही है.
