Income tax raids are also taking place continuously before the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. Income tax department officials raided the bases of senior DMK leader and candidate EV Velu in Tamil Nadu assembly elections for the second consecutive day today. Income tax officials said that the raids were based on reliable information of cash exchanges for the April 6 elections in the state.

तमिलनाडु में विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले इनकम टैक्स के छापे भी लगातार पड़ रहे हैं. आय कर विभाग के अधिकारियों ने आज लगातार दूसरे दिन डीएमके के वरिष्ठ नेता और तमिलनाडु विधानसभा चुनाव में उम्मीदवार ईवी वेलु के ठिकानों पर छापेमारी की है. आयकर अधिकारियों ने कहा कि ये छापेमारी 6 अप्रैल के राज्य में होने वाले चुनाव के लिए नकदी आदान-प्रदान के विश्वसनीय सूचना पर आधारित थी.
