Meanwhile, there is news that there has been talk about the seat sharing between the DMK and the Congress. It is being said that the Congress can get a chance to contest on 25 seats. Apart from this, Congress can also get the Lok Sabha seat of Kanyakumari. In the year 2016 elections, DMK was allotted 41 seats to the Congress, but it could win only 7 seats. Therefore, sources say that the DMK is in favor of giving only 25 seats to the Congress this time.

तमिलनाडु में विधानसाभा चुनाव के लिए पार्टियों के बीच गठबंधन का दौर लगातार जारी है. इस बीच खबर है कि DMK और कांग्रेस के बीच सीटों के बंटवारे को लेकर बात बन गई है. कहा जा रहा है कि कांग्रेस को 25 सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ने का मौका मिल सकता है. इसके अलावा कांग्रेस को कन्याकुमारी की लोकसभा सीट भी मिल सकती है. कांग्रेस को वर्ष 2016 के चुनाव में डीएमके ने 41 सीटें आवंटित की थीं, लेकिन वह महज 7 सीटें जीत पाई थी. लिहाजा सूत्रों का कहना है कि डीएमके इस बार कांग्रेस को 25 सीटें ही देने की पक्षधर है.
