This Tiny Container House in Laguna Looks Like a Cafe by the Mountains
  • 3 years ago
Tiny homes are growing in popularity as they are a budget-friendly answer to building and designing a home. In the Philippines, tiny homes are slowly starting to gain traction and there’s a new one we’ve spotted!
This tiny container home in Laguna is located in Lumban, Laguna and situated infront of the Sierra Madre mountain ranges, making it a spectacular view. The house itself is 18 square meters but the lot is 150 square meters, meaning a lot of outdoor space! This tiny house even has an outdoor kitchen which is perfect for al fresco dinners and gatherings.

The homeowner of the tiny house, Christian Elbo, knew that he wanted a place wherein he and his family and friends could stay in, especially when they are in need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city! The construction of the tiny home took only three months with the help of his brother’s construction team, and was inspired by container-style tiny homes on Instagram! And would you believe they only shelled out around P600,000 to build this aesthetic space? So cool!
