In the first segment, Elizabeth and Alvin sit down to pass a pleasant Sunday afternoon reading the paper and get into an argument about who gets to read what section first. The second segment is a flashback to when Elizabeth and Alvin first moved into their new house and must deal with the numerous telephone calls from callers who want to speak to the previous owners. In the third segment, Elizabeth, Alvin and Bulldog get a flat tire while driving to a formal dance.
