On February 7, the day of Sunday when the nature of Uttarakhand wreaked havoc, the explosion of the glacier in Chamoli district has caused huge destruction, 8 months before the scientists of Uttarakhand warned about it. Scientists had then said that there are glaciers in many areas of Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal that can burst anytime. He gave an example of the Shyok river in the Karakoram range of Jammu and Kashmir in this regard.
