In the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand on Sunday morning, the broken glacier from the mountains has caused great destruction. The NTPC project located at Tapovan in the debris of the glacier has suffered a lot. The debris from above is trapped in the tunnel of this project. The good thing is that all the 16 people trapped in this tunnel have been evacuated. ITBP and SDRF personnel have been successful in evacuating people from this tunnel. However, many people are still feared trapped in another tunnel.

उत्तराखंड के चमोली जिले में रविवार सुबह पहाड़ों से टूटे ग्लेशियर ने भारी तबाही मचाई है. ग्लेशियर के मलबे में तपोवन में स्थित NTPC प्रोजेक्ट को बहुत नुकसान हुआ है. ऊपर से आया मलबा इस प्रोजेक्ट के टनल में फंस गया है. अच्छी बात ये है कि इस टनल में फंसे सभी 16 लोगों को निकाल लिया गया है. आईटीबीपी और SDRF के जवानों को इस टनल से लोगों को निकालने में कामयाबी मिली है. हालांकि एक दूसरी टनल में अभी भी कई लोगों फंसे होने की आशंका है.
