Uttarakhand is once again forced to face disaster. On 7 February, a huge tragedy occurred due to the bursting of glacier in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. The Rishi Ganga Power Project has suffered heavy damage due to a glacier burst in Tapovan area of ​​Joshimath. With this, more than 200 people have gone missing. Following this disaster, NTPC Limited suffered a loss of about 1,500 crore for a 520 MW hydroelectric project. Minister of State for Power RK Singh gave this information.

उत्तराखंड एक बार फिर आपदा झेलने को मजबूर है. 7 फरवरी को उत्तराखंड के चमोली में ग्लेशियर फटने से बड़ी त्रासदी हुई है. जोशीमठ के तपोवन इलाके में ग्लेशियर फटने से ऋषि गंगा पावर प्रोजेक्ट को भारी नुकसान पहुंचा है. इसके साथ की 200 से अधिक लोग लापता हो गए हैं. इस आपदा के बाद एनटीपीसी लिमिटेड को 520 मेगावाट की जलविद्युत परियोजना के लिए लगभग 1,500 करोड़ का नुकसान हुआ है. इस बात की जानकारी ऊर्जा राज्य मंत्री आरके सिंह ने दी.
