Instant Pot Daal Gosht Recipe in English || Punjabi Style Dal Gosht || How to make dal gosht in the instant pot at home

1 kg Mutton
2 Onions (medium size)
2 tomatoes (medium size)
2 Tbsp. Ginger garlic paste
2 Tbsp. Salt OR (to taste)
½ cup water
1 cup vegetable oil
2 ½ Tbsp. Red chili powder OR (to taste)
½ Tbsp. Turmeric powder
1 Tbsp. Kashmiri chili powder
1 ½ Tbsp. Coriander powder
2 ½ cups chana dal (split chickpeas)
1 ½ Cup Water OR (as required)
½ Tbsp. Garam masala powder
Cilantro half a bunch
Green chili
Ginger julienne cut

Add mutton, onions, tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and water in a pressure cooker or instant pot.
Pressure cook it for 5 to 8 minutes or until the meat is 95% done.
Add oil, red chili powder, turmeric, Kashmiri red chili powder, and coriander powder.
Simmer it until oil separates.
Add Chana daal (split chickpeas) and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add plain water OR (in which daal was soaked for more flavor).
Pressure cook for 2 - 3 minutes or until the daal and meat are completely tender.
Sprinkle garam masala powder.
Garnish it with julienne cut ginger, cilantro (green coriander), and green chilies.
Serve with rice or naan.
