Netcare Group CEO, Dr Richard Friedland, says the ban on alcohol sale as well as the current lockdown has helped stabilize new COVID-19 infections. Friedland says Netcare has about 3-thousand COVID-19 patients at their 54 hospitals countrywide. He says the staff is exhausted and a vaccine is needed urgently.
