On the occasion of the 73rd Army Day on January 15, Army chief MM Naravane on Friday lauded the "supreme sacrifice" of the bravehearts in the line of duty. Terming 2020 as a year full of challenges and opportunities, the chief said that the Indian Army stood steadfast on safeguarding the security and territorial integrity of the nation.

इंडियन आर्मी आज 73वां सेना दिवस मना रही है. इस अवसर पर सेना प्रमुख एमएम नरवणे ने शहीद जवानों को श्रद्धांजलि दी. इस मौके पर उन्होंने ड्यूटी करते हुए बहादुरों के सर्वोच्च बलिदान की सराहना की. वहीं इस मौके पर सेना प्रमुख ने चीन और पाकिस्तान को कड़ी चेतावनी दी. उन्होंने LAC पर जारी तनातनी और गलवान हिंसा को लेकर कहा कि, हमारे बहादुर ऑफिसरों और जवानों ने दुश्मनों को मुंहतोड़ जवाब दिया.
