Cold wave to prevail in North India, will intense from Jan 7: IMD

The IMD said on Thursday that cold wave will continue in North India. "From January 2, the cold spell will decrease. Light rain expected in eastern Rajasthan, Delhi, western Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana from January 2-6. From January 7, intense cold wave will hit North India," it said.
