North India is reeling under extreme cold conditions. Cold wave to severe cold wave conditions are likely to stay in North India for a few more days. IMD said the cold wave conditions will continue in North India till January 18. As per the weather department, the temperature will continue to be at 3 degrees Celsius in Delhi. Schools will remain shut in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur till January 17. In Meerut, schools will be closed for students up to Class 8.
