A nurse in the U.S. has tested positive for COVID-19 despite getting his first vaccine shot.
According to ABC News affiliate KGTV on Wednesday, a 45-year-old male nurse in San Diego was confirmed to have the virus...eight days after receiving the first Pfizer vaccine on December 18th.
The only side effect he experienced was arm soreness.
Six days later, the nurse had muscle pain chills and fatigue.
However, health experts note that such a scenario is not unexpected, saying he could have already contracted the virus before getting inoculated.
