당정, 코로나 피해 상인에 100만~300만 차등지원

A new bill to be passed by South Korean lawmakers... will give small business owners relief funds next month of between one and three million won each, depending on how badly they've been affected by the pandemic.
That's about 900 to 27-hundred U.S. dollars.
A rough draft of the plan was announced on Sunday.
The 900-dollar payment will go to all business owners, then another 900 to those whose operations were restricted, and the final 900 to those who had to close completely.
Also in the bill rent relief for small shop owners.
For landlords who give them rent discounts, the tax deductible amount will be raised from 50 percent to 70 percent.
Lawmakers expect to pass the bill early January and make the payment by the end of the month.
